Select saute setting on an electric pressure cooker and adjust for medium heat. Add two teaspoons oil. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. Brown the meat adding oil as needed. Add the mushrooms, onion, beef broth and hot sauce. Lock lid; close the pressure-release valve. Adjust to pressure-cook on high for about 15 minutes. And then, quick-release the pressure. Select saute setting and adjust for low heat; bring liquid to boil. In a bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir it into the beef mixture. Cook and stir until the sauce is thickened for one-two minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.
